On October 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon, renowned physicist Yang Zhenning passed away in Beijing at the age of 103.

Born in Hefei, Anhui in 1922, he and Tsung-Dao Lee jointly won the 1957 Nobel Prize in Physics for proposing the theory of parity violation.
他1922年生于安徽合肥，1957年与李政道因提出“宇称不守恒”理论共同获得诺贝尔物理学奖。
His “Yang–Mills gauge field theory” laid the foundation for modern particle physics.
他提出的“杨—米尔斯规范场论”奠定了现代粒子物理学的基石。
Since 1999, he had served as a professor at Tsinghua University, contributing greatly to education and scientific research in China.
1999年起，他担任清华大学教授，为中国高等教育和科研事业倾注心血。
